Fingerspelling | Our Way to Reading
University of Colorado Boulder’s Project Director, Nancy Bridenbaugh, and Clerc Center’s Tammy Burns collaborate on a groundbreaking program named Fingerspelling | Our Way to Reading. Together, we embarked on the journey to develop a user-friendly webpage that not only offers a plethora of information but also presents it in an effortlessly comprehensible format.
This project held special significance for me, as it not only marked their inaugural collaboration utilizing the latest WordPress advancements but also provided me with an opportunity to evolve beyond my conventional roles as a graphic designer and photographer, stepping into the realm of web design with enthusiasm and determination.
As the project unfolded, they expanded their team to include three dedicated trainers who gather, support, and conduct training sessions for participants enrolled in the “Fingerspelling | Our Way to Reading” program. Witnessing its rapid expansion, we are now poised to introduce new features, the culmination of months of meticulous planning and fine-tuning.
Stay tuned as we unveil these exciting developments in the coming months, a testament to our unwavering commitment to innovation and excellence in supporting deaf and hard of hearing learners.
